Thanks to Ellie for allowing me to take a few shots of her window display as the last rays of the sun caught it. As with the shot below, it needs a bit more post-processesing, though I'm not sure there is anything I can do about the blown red channel - I am struggling to contain this on the D700 and don't remember having any problems with my D50 in this regard. Ah well, I shall read more about it tomorrow and try and resolve it in time for whatever next presents itself.

Welcome to Mrs Lemon's
It started as a project to take a picture a day for 10 years. This hasn't, I must belatedly admit, happened. However, I have posted pics relatively frequently and I like to think my technique has improved. So, help yourselves - all feedback is welcome be it good, bad or indifferent. Copy and use any pictures as you see fit, though beware that these are all low-res copies (and similar can be found on Flickr) - nowadays I shoot in RAW and keep the larger files this generates on my PC. The pictures on here are, for the most part, a bit murky and soft, a product of their size I think. But, if you were interested in prints / use of larger, better quality images, you can contact me at patrick dodds @ gmail dot com without the spaces.
