If you get the chance, do pop along to the PE festival - it is marvelous, with something fun happening around every corner. Of course, you need to take your camera. I don't think I mentioned that I said hello to Martin Parr while I was there did I? Anyway, I did - slightly embarrassingly hagiographic as I was, I am still nonetheless glad I made an effort even if saying that I love his pictures is going to mark me down as an unimaginative goon. :)

One more from the South Bank 50's Festival - that Fuji, you know it sometimes focuses on the background for no apparent reason don't you? Ah well, good enough for provoking a memory and a smile.

OK, so this ain't gonna win any awards (the X100, as I use it, is like that, at least at the moment - I don't compose so well with it, I just grab the shot - maybe sometimes this is a good thing...). Trico again - you probably get the idea by now - lots of pictures of their travels, greetings in a dozen languages, a map showing their route... Neat.
